When I saw that, the infamous and iconic, Ultra festival was back in South Africa this year I knew I had to go. They had me at the first stage of the line up announcement. The second, revealing the likes of Gorgon City? Well, that was an added bonus.

We are lucky enough to have the likes of international artists: Armin van Buuren, Axwell^Ingrosso, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, DVBBS, Gorgon City and Oliver Heldens perform this year. Locally, it is no less exciting with Protoculture, Goldfish, Pascal & Pearce, Ian Skene and many more.

Huawei recently came onboard to sponsor the festival and when they approached me and offered 3 x general tickets to give away for the Cape Town event, I simply couldn’t say no!

The Huawei Culture Club App was launched last year and it is fast becoming a widely used platform to access everything related to the best music and entertainment events around the country.  They are showing are no signs of slowing down with their support for the industry and it is great to follow.

I love what Huawei is doing and am so looking forward to seeing what else is in store.

To enter to win those tickets to Ultra you have to:

1. Like Musical Mover on Facebook.

2. Post on the wall stating why you would love the tickets. It can be a few lines / a story / a photo or anything you can come up.

When The Script burst onto the scene with ‘Breakeven’ seven years ago, I was instantly drawn to their infectious rock / pop sound.

Their subsequent hits, and my personal favourites, ‘Man Who Can’t Be Moved’ and the change in direction that came with ‘Hall of Fame’ featuring will.i.a.m only served to cement their hugely successful career. This was alongside their selling 20-million records world-wide and having all three of their albums going multi-platinum the world over.

When I heard The Script were returning South Africa for a tour, a wave nostalgia washed over me and I put their music on repeat. Then when Huawei approached me and offered 3 x general standing tickets to give away for their show in Cape Town on 8 February at Grandwest, I couldn’t resist.

Huawei launched the Huawei Culture Club App last year and it is fast becoming a widely used platform to access everything related to the best music and entertainment events around the country. They also recently came onboard to sponsor electronic / dance music festival Ultra and they are showing are no signs of slowing down with their support for the industry.

I love what Huawei is doing and can’t wait to see what else is in store.
