It was inevitable that after the release of the absolutely incredible ‘Hello’, the remixes would start rolling in and I have been sceptical about most producers take on the song, that was until I heard Anevo’s spin on it.
Keeping the original, soaring piano pieces with more upbeat, subtle and then slow, steady and spectacular build up and just enough energy to give the song a wholly different feel yet stay true to the original.
I adore the remix and you will too.

Remember I told you about one of my favourite South African bands, Native Young, earlier this year?
I discovered them when they were busking one weekend and was hooked from the first chord. Following their progress over the past few months has been nothing short of exciting, and when I heard their latest single, ‘Kings’ at festival, Rocking the Daisies, I knew we were in for another treat.
With a dizzying mix of electronic, distinctive vocals, international appeal, an African twist that that is undeniably catchy and soul stirring Native Young is set to become one of the most formidable acts in the country.
I think you’ll love ‘Kings’, it’s another gem from the supremely exciting band. Enjoy!

Aah, The Chainsmokers, I stumbled upon them when they released their remix of ‘Medicine’ by Daughter years ago and have been hooked ever since.
Their latest offering features fellow DJs Tritonal and magical vocals by Emily Warren. It’s typical of their usual style with heavy drops, melodic undertone and beat so infectious, it is impossible not to love.
It is yet another amazing song from my favourites. It has been so great to follow all of their incredible offerings and I can’t wait for the next one!
