The boutique festival Mieliepop is back. They are offering a 3 day camping experience with over 50 live acts on three stages at a one of a kind venue with food stalls and a host of additional outdoor activities.

Think great music talent, gorgeous rivers, rolling fields, squeaky clean infrastructure and incredible entertainment. Crystal clear waters, green hills, lilies and magical caves set the scene for our 3 music stages, surrounded by a massive lake and pools to keep you refreshed and energised all day long. Restless feet are kept tapping late into the night at the electric cave without disturbing the early-to-bed campers.

The lineup includes the likes of: Adelle Nqeto, Albert Fros,  Bittereinder. Black Cat Bones, Bright Lights Big City, Bye Beneco, Chee, Diamond Thug and many more.

It takes place from 18 – 21 March 2016 at Tolderia Farm, Lothair.

As if the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival lineup wasn’t exciting enough, the latest announcements are set to make it even bigger and better.

They recently added a staggering further 24 acts to the lineup. This means just under 40 artists will be taking to the various stages at the festival, over the three days, with genre bending and melding acts with roots in hip hop, house, techno, electronica.

New acts include: Detroit techno stalwart Rolando, French DJ/producer Chloé lauded for melding art and music, Berlin’s Ralf Kollmann, head honcho of powerhouse imprint Mobilee.

The local lineup is no less impressive with critically acclaimed artist Petite Noir returning to perform his first ever live show in South Africa, along with Sibot & Toyota and hip-hop quartet Driemanskap.

The Cape Town Electronic Music Festival will take place from 5 – 7 February 2016. It is one not to miss!

The Cape Town Electronic Music Festival is back and better than ever. It will expand its world-class sound and production from two to three stages; festival goers can expect the same heavy hitting line-ups and soaring atmosphere that lured thousands to the grand spaces of City Hall last year.

It was established as a platform to celebrate South Africa’s thriving electronic music culture and industry. The festival has fast-gained international recognition for being one of the most relevant and forward-thinking events on Africa’s music festival calendar.

International pioneers and innovators share the stage with the hottest emerging acts and globetrotting titans of the South African scene and next year promises to be no different, with the festival taking place from 5– 7 February,

A limited supply of early bird full weekend passes have been released to mark the opening of the next edition of the festival to be held at Cape Town’s City Hall.
