Get ready for a treat Van Coke Kartel fans, the band will be making a previously unreleased song exclusively available to those who are a part of the DialMedia community.
DialMedia is a free South African mobile platform offering smartphones users free calls. Smartphone owners with the DialMedia app can access their exclusive voucher for the new Van Coke Kartel song here from Monday. The song, ‘Volgens Getuies’ was not included on the band’s most recent album, but Francois Van Coke explains ”it’s a favourite to some of us, the track is lazy metal contemplating celestial bodies and satellite circulating in the atmosphere above us.” The song – which has never been performed live – was written as part of the ‘Wie’s Bang’ sessions and recorded at Bellville Studio under the guidance of Theo Crous. The release of the new track is a way of saying thanks to a selection of the band’s biggest fans, giving them something special for all the support they’ve shown.
