Ghost Wave.
Allow me to introduce Ghost Wave. The band hails from Auckland, New Zealand. Inspired by skate videos, persian rugs and the music of Little Richard. This year sees the release of some rock ‘n roll Ghost Wave material including the release of an eponymous EP on August 21st through +1 Records, they also have a debut full-length slated for release next year.
They say their sound “finds itself somewhere between the Flying Nun bands of the 80s, the British explosion of the 1960s and the wayfaring dubs of Lee “Scratch” Perry. Sunny, loud, and laid back…”
