Get Out of the Garage Campaign. Converse Style.
All music makers out there, this one is for you. And take note, this is an opportunity of a life time. Think a chance to Get Out Of The Garage and step onto the stage at The 100 Club in UK? This is your chance to do it!
How does it work you cry? Well, Converse wants your unsigned talent to get out of the garage and head to the UK to play a gig at this epic venue later this year. Whether you are a punk rocker, electro fundi, kickass proponent of kwaito, or a hip hop player, Converse wants to hear you.
If you’re an unsigned band/artist, upload your best original song and band biography via the Facebook page. The judges, including the likes of Zulu Boy, Jon Savage and Garick Williams will then narrow down the entries to South Africa’s Top 10. Converse will then showcase these acts on Facebook, where South Africa decides who is lucky enough to be sent to London. Sound amazing? I know. To top it all off, one lucky fan will have the chance to join their favourite band VIP style for the gig.
