Who has won 5 Grammys, sold 23 million albums, 64 million singles and has 13 MTV Awards to her name? Lady Gaga of course. Who is coming to South Africa? Yup, you guessed it, the one and only Gaga.
The rumour mill has been swirling for years about Lady Gaga coming to South Africa, with sources confirming it last year and so every time Big Concerts made an announcement all would eagerly await the news. Il Divo came and went, Engelbert Humberdinck came and went without signs of any Gaga news. Until today. Thanks to a little 5FM teaser it indicated that it would be her who was coming.
Now, it is officially official. Lady Gaga will be here supported by The Darkness and Lady Starlight. The tour dates are November 30th in Johannesburg at Soccer City and on December 3rd in Cape Town at the Cape Town Stadium. Seated tickets cost R315 and standing will go for R715. Too great!
