Sunglasses at Night. Ray-Ban Style.
Late last year some of South Africa’s most prolific bands and artists, including the likes of JR, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Locnville, Van Coke Kartel, aKING and Thieve merged their talents and genres to collaborate on a unique version of Corey Hart’s hit Sunglasses at Night. Their cover was such a spectacular nod to the 80′s hit that it had to be great.
Ray-Ban South Africa initiated the project as part of their ongoing love affair with local music and has made the song available for song free. Fantastic I know!
Today the music video was released and it was pure 80′s goodness. Think crazy arcade games. Cheesy clothes. Tracksuits. An Uno Turbo street race between Laudo Liebenberg and Francois van Coke. Oh and lots and lots of amazing Ray-Ban sunglasses of course.
It is pure awesomeness. Enjoy!
