Famous for their explosive remixes and acclaimed by a growing legion of fans and DJs from all around the world, the young French production duo of Alexis and Mederic known as BeatauCue has managed to impose their style with the release of a string of EPs, as well as the show stealing track “Kiho” from the recent Kitsuné Parisien II full length. Their latest single, “Slow Down” featuring Kenzie May, is set to be released on April 9th on Kitsuné. The “Slow Down” minimix is available now as a free download.

After a first smashing and successful tour all over the world, the duo (only 20 years old, mind you) recently brought their live show to the US this month to festivals such as Austin’s SXSW and Miami’s WMC, while hitting New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles as well.  Next up they will be making stops in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne), and of course, Japan (Tokyo, Osaka).

For their new single “Slow Down,” BeatauCue teamed up with the talented self-taught UK singer Kenzie May, bringing a sensual side as a nice counterpoint to the track’s electro leanings that’s sure to ignite dancefloors. The EP comes with marvelous remixes from the likes of The Japanese Popstars, Adrian Lux, Dwntwn, and Grand Marnier (Yelle Djs).

It is going to be something spectacular. Keep an eye out for it!
