The Moody Blues. South African Tour. 2012

When it was announced by Big Concerts that The Moody Blues were coming, Twitter was abuzz with those excited for the coming of the greats and others? Well, not so much . I was of the latter category until I saw who was joining them, Procol Harum.

Now, celebrating their 45-year career, the legendary English rock band is set to perform in South Africa next year.  More exciting though is who is accompanying them. Think  special guests, 10cc -most known for their studio polish, advanced musicianship, impeccable vocal performances, and clever lyrics as well as the great Procol Harum, a British rock band, formed in 1967, who contributed to the development of progressive rock, and by extension, symphonic rock.

Amazing you cry? I know. The much anticipated tour is scheduled for the 30th May 2012 at the Grand Arena, Grand West in Cape Town and the 1st June 2012 at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg.

You can get your tickets here. So on a scale of one to thrilled, what are your thoughts on the tour?
