The Music Network.

Beginning in Cape Town at The Assembly and culminating in Johannesburg at Tanz Café, Music Network presents a selection of the country’s most compelling acts, performing to an audience of the industry and public alike. Some of the music industry’s most influential names will be in attendance – including Steve Schnur, EA Music Group‘s Worldwide Executive and President of Artwerk Publishing (representing Ladytron, Matt & Kim, Junkie XL), and Sat Bisla, owner and founder of Pangaea Entertainment Group, A&R Worldwide and MUSEXPO. Schnur and Bisla’s participation, bringing with their expertise, networks and roles in the global industry, will affect a potential shift for punter and player alike over this original and enterprising showcase series.

It all begins tonight at The Assembly, Cape Town’s Live & Electronic music venue, where some of the country’s most promising acts have been invited to perform. Goodluck, Taxi Violence, Pascal & Pearce, Machineri and The Louise Day Band will all share the stage on Thursday night, each band and artist offering fans and new listeners something well-worth seeing, hearing and capitalising on.

Expect to spot music retailers, online and print media, event coordinators and promoters between the curious and fiercely loyal fans lucky enough to buy a ticket before they sell out. If music moves you – full, part or play time – it’s time to invest in an experience set to profile the ever-evolving SA music scene like nothing before.

Music Network launches Thursday 13th October at The Assembly in Cape Town, and continues this weekend at the Tanz Café in Johannesburg.

Doors open at 20:00 with bands starting at 20:30. Entrance is free before 20:30.
