Old Flame Records is pleased to announce the debut release from Mathieu Santos. Limited to a pressing of 300 green vinyl 7-inch records, I Can Hear The Trains Coming will be available July 26, 2011.
A founding member (and the extraordinarily agile bassist) of chamber pop heavy-hitters Ra Ra Riot, Mathieu Santos has surprised himself by his solo effort. “I Can Hear the Trains Coming” is the debut single off of the upcoming full-length on Barsuk Records later this year.
An irresistibly catchy toe tapper with a warm organ holding together airy harmonies and high flying lyrics, “I Can Hear the Trains Coming” is like the first day of summer after the longest winter of your life.
