Tiger ft. Aku. It’s all rather 99 red balloons esque with a Chinese dragon thrown in but when you’re Maximum Balloon one would expect nothing less from a video. Allow this tasty treat to be your introduction to David Andrew Sitek, although you might know him as the guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and producer for TV On The Radio, as well as such critically acclaimed and popular bands like Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Liars.
Sitek’s debut album, Maximum Balloon shows off his skills as a musician and producer and has been described as a “glittery electro-pop strut, with layers of cascading synth blips and bleeps, clapping drum machine beats, and intergalactic funk bass grooves.” Sound good? I couldn’t agree more. Can’t wait to get my hands on it.
