Kings Of Leon. Radioactive.
Aah, the new Kings of Leon. Radioactive. From much of the response it has garnered, fans were expecting more.
According to Kings of Leon Radioactive was the first song the group began working on following the release of ‘Aha Shake Heartbreak’ back in 2004 which explains the feel of the song, one that doesn’t aim to be overly spectacular but exactly for that reason is what makes it so spectacular and the youth choir is an especially nice touch. Personally, I love it.
As for the video, it is rather simple and a trifle confusing although it does reflect the band “going back to their roots” .
All in all it should be interesting to see what the rest of their album, out on October 19th, has in store.
Update: It appears Sony has removed the video for Radioactive from YouTube. a) they are remaking it or b) they just made the stupidest move. Ever.
