She has been dubbed an “art-glam-trash-pop teen who makes Lady Gaga look a bit, well, old and crap” by The Guardian UK. Her name is Sky Ferreira.
She’s appeared in a Justice video adding a “cappella squeaks and sighs” to ‘We Are Your Friends’ and she is currently working with Paul Epworth, Bloodshy & Avant, Dallas Austin and more on her debut album to be released this year. Guess what? She’s only 17.
DJ Skeet Skeet took her cover of The Beatles ‘Happiness is a Warm Gun’ and put Dr Dre’s beat over it resulting in the mash-up called ‘Happy Dre. It’s beyond amazing. She looks set to make a mark in 2010. Believe it. Check out more of her music here.
