Just Jinjer- Back in the land of Milk and Honies.
If you weren’t already aware of the fact, Just Jinjer (one of South Africa’s biggest musical exports) is back in home and they have a new 8-track EP Milk and Honies that has recently been released through Sony Music.
The EP “features some of Just Jinjer’s US recordings, including “Subject” and the new single “Milk and Honies”, which is already receiving support from key radio stations nationwide. After their experience of living in the US and in London for the past ten years, the lyrics of the title track were inspired by Ard’s deep-rooted love for South Africa, “truly the land of Milk and Honies.”
The band says “After a very exciting and successful 2009, we have entered 2010 with broad smiles, fresh perspectives and masses of inspiration. We returned home last year to the most welcoming response we could ever have dreamed of – Thank You South Africa. We love you guys! We are definitely going to keep rocking your socks off this 2010….
There are exciting things happening here in SA at the moment (FIFA for instance) and we are super stoked to be a part of the festivities of 2010…”
The band look to have a year that can only get even more exciting than it already is!
