The Nokia X6 music powerhouse, now in South Africa.
The new, sexy Nokia X6 phone is now available in South Africa, music fans, start drooling. The Nokia X6 has no relation to the BMW X6-although comparisons can be drawn on the sleek look and the high end market and price of the two. The music powerhouse is expected to retail for approximately R6999.99 (yes, it’s pricey, but it’s worth it).
The X6 is “a powerful entertainment device capable of playing up to 35 hours of music, it offers 32GB of on-board memory and supports all main digital music formats. It also has a slick 3.2″ finger touch interface and a 5 megapixel camera equipped with a Carl Zeiss lens.” Are you drooling yet? No? Really?
If you’re more of a social butterfly, the device has a 16:9 widescreen which is optimised for photo and imaging display, web browsing, video recording and gaming. You can also bring virtual communities, like Facebook, to the home screen and follow all the favourite blogs and celeb gossip.
What? You’re still not happy? Well, this should satisfy even the most hardened of critics, “The Nokia X6 Comes With Music edition is a stellar offering that gives music fans the power to download all the music they could ever want – quickly, easily and for free…giving people handy access to and ownership of a vast music library and a great new Capacitive touchscreen device to play their music on.” said Patrick Henchie, product manager for Nokia South Africa.
The X6 will be available for you to get your hands on from early January 2010 at MTN, AutoPage and Nashua Mobile.
