Van Coke Kartel. Voor Ons Stof Word.
Van Coke Kartel has been busy in studio working on their new album, Skop, Skiet en Donner and Wynand describes the feel of album as “something different” and “there is some crazy new material with a completely different flavour.”
The album sees them working with friends and fellow musicians, Laudo Liebenberg of aKing and Peach van Pletzen of Yesterday’s Pupil.
Their first single, Voor Ons Stof Word was released today and is available for free download from Rhythm Records Music Store. In conjunction with the release of the single, the music video for Voor Ons Stof Word was also released today. The video (made by Louis Minnaar) happens to be Van Coke Kartel first foray with video animation. The style is almost dreamy, with a rocker edge.
The album will be out in early 2010 and in the words of Francois it’s going to be “very fucking lekker.”
Look out for it, it’ll be sure to blow your mind.
