Jennifer’s Body Movie Soundtrack

Jennifer’s Body is a horror movie. I hate horror movies. The movie stars Megan Fox (which means about 3 quarters of the male population will head out to see it).
The storyline of the movie (if you can call it that) is: “A cheerleader with the perfect life becomes the girl from hell when she gets possessed and begins killing boys in a small town.”
It sounds boring and overdone, but Megan Fox is in it, so who really cares?
Anyway, enough about the movie, let’s get onto the soundtrack. The soundtrack looks epic, in fact it looks to be more of a selection of every up and coming band right about now; dare I call it the album of 2009?
The songs were assembled by Randall Poster, who has been the music supervisor of films such 200 CIGARETTES, DOGMA, and SCHOOL OF ROCK in addition to the TV series on ABC, Lost.
Take a look at the track list (I may have started drooling after reading this):
1. Kiss With a Fist – Florence and The Machine
2. New Perspective – Panic! At The Disco
3. Teenagers – Hayley Williams
4. New In Town – Little Boots
5. Finishing School – Dashboard Confessional
6. Through The Trees – Low Shoulder
7. Time – Cute Is What We Aim For
8. I Can See Clearly – Screeching Weasel
9. Chew Me Up – Cobra Starship
10. Toxic Valentine – All Time Low
11. I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend – Black Kids
12. Death – White Lies
13. Celestial Crown – The Sword
14. Little Lover’s So Polite – Silversun Pickups
15. Ready For The Floor – Lissy Trullie
Bonus track: Violet – Hole
The first 4 artists are: Florence and The Machine, Panic! At The Disco, Hayley Williams and Little Boots, with just those 4 artists the soundtrack already appeals to almost every music genre out there (I said almost). The rest of the album features artists like Cobra Starship and White Lies.
If you don’t know of any of the above mentioned artists, you clearly don’t own a TV, radio or cell phone.
In my opinion, skip the movie (when it comes out) and buy the soundtrack instead, unless of course you’re going just going to watch Megan Fox…
