The Killers in South Africa
The Killers have announced their first South African tour. They have announced that they will only play shows – in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
In 2004 The Killers released the stylish ‘Hot Fuss’ and introduced their band to the public. The album was a massive sucess spawning the hits Mr Brightside and Somebody Told Me…
They have recently released their new album Day & Age, to massive sucess with the hit song Human.
The Killers have received seven nods from The Grammys and won a variety of MTVand NME Awards. They have headlined some of the biggest festivals in the world including Glastonbury, Reading/Leeds and Pukkelpop, and have sold out venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York.
The Killers will play at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg on December 4 and at the Val De Vie Estate in Cape Town on December 6. Tickets range from R269 to R526 and are available at Computicket.

Update: (24/09) A new show will take place at the Coca-Cola Dome on Thursday the 3rd of December 2009 in Joburg, due to popular demand.
Update: (29/09) all the golden circle tickets for Cape Town and Joburg are sold out.
Update: (04/11) Zebra and Giraffe will be supporting The Killers on their South African tour dates, Greg Carlin said “they’re one of my favourite bands and it’ll be an honour to share the stage with them….one of the biggest bands in the world”.
