The Sound

The Sound is a DJ/Producer/Remix artist from Cape Town, South Africa.  You can follow him on Twitter to see all the new things happening with him.

He started out in early 2008 as a DJ for the infamous Arcade parties, The Sound has since played most of the more significant nightclub parties  as well as being a featured artist at venues including Mercury Live, The Assembly and Fiction with an overwhelming response.

Apart from DJing, The Sound has also remixed many of South Africa’s top alternative artists like AKing, Kid of Doom, Desmond and the Tutus,  as well as being a part of an electro synth-rock band called Tigerstrike, who are rapidly becoming an essential favourite in the SA electro scene and beyond.

His other projects include LAN, a live act representing the individual and collaborative work of DJ/Producers CoDeC and The Sound  accompanied by a live drummer.
