“South African band Zebra & Giraffe have become the latest victims of crime wave sweeping South Africa. The band’s Mitsubishi Colt bakkie filled with R100 000 worth of music instruments and equipment was stolen from the car park of a Sandton hotel in the early hours of Saturday morning. Just Music, Zebra & Giraffe’s record company, is offering a R10 000 reward for the return of the band’s equipment which includes items such as a limited edition Fender Telecaster 60th Anniversary Edition Guitar, a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Amplifier, a VoiceLive Vocal Pedal and Shure In-Ear Monitor Pack. Zebra & Giraffe are due to play alongside Snow Patrol, Oasis, Panic! at the Disco, Bullet for my Valentine and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus at the Coca-Cola Zero Fest on 10th & 13th April.
