It is with much sadness that I send this out. Shy Guevaras are no longer. We are splitting up due to personal reasons.
Its been a rollercoaster ride and we have been to very high peaks and struggled through a few low troughs. We would like to thank all of you for all your support over the last 3 years.
Its been an amazing journey which saw us play shows with all of SA’s top Bands and some of the World’s best ever bands to Huge crowds !!! We launched an album, had songs recorded live, songs mixed in San Francisco,we were sponsored, we received radio play, television screenings, press appearances, built a little revolution following us around and played many many live shows….
All in all, this band went further than any of us knew or hoped for and who knows, if we had stuck it out maybe we could have broken through and become really successful, but you know what they say a bout woulda, coulda, shoulda right?? we are happy and extremely thankful that you guys stuck it out with us!! We enjoyed every single minute of playing with you and for you! We all will take with us memories that we will look back on and treasure. This was the stuff dreams are made of!!
It would not have been possible without you guys and your support !!
We would like to thank all the bands we played with, our management and our sponsors…

Those words sum up all I can say about the band and more-I’ve had the opportunity to see them live at Coke Fest and Zim Fest ’08 and I personally liked the band and will miss them …
